Press the big button. A little program opens that draws a smiley face.
When it opens, click Run (or the green flag in the top corner) and watch the turtle draw. Then poke at it: the blocks on the left are the program. Change a number and run it again.
Click the black box under the picture, type one of these, and press Enter.
Start fresh (this wipes the smiley and gets the turtle ready):
reset
Walk and turn:
fd 100 rt 90 fd 100
A square, the short way:
repeat 4 [fd 100 rt 90]
A colourful flower made of squares:
reset repeat 36 [setpencolor 1 + random 15 repeat 4 [fd 80 rt 90] rt 10]
fd means forward, rt means right turn, and reset starts over. Try other numbers. You can’t break anything!
